MC Telecom is looking for an experienced Tower Top Lead. Must have TMO, VZW, and AT&T experience. All work is in VA, MD, and NC at this time. Minimum of five years of tower climbing experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Supervise and assist in the installation of all aspects of RF antenna installations
· Observe and direct work to ensure the highest level of safety and quality control requirements are upheld
· Perform tower inspections, inventories, and audits
· Review all documentation to prepare for installation, assemble the necessary materials, determine required installation methods, tools, and equipment
· Collect and review all on-site closeout documentation and submit to the appropriate parties per the deliverable timelines
· Coordinate with the site owner representative for site related activities
· Provide training to crew members as required
· Other duties as assigned
Experience:
· Minimum of five years of tower climbing experience
· Two or more years supervising a crew
· Specific experience with wireless carrier builds and maintenance
· Ability to demonstrate connector applications
· Must have an understanding of the installation and testing of the latest technologies
· Ability to read site installation documentation and build accordingly
Technical Skills:
· RF safety awareness – We can certify in-house
· OSHA 10 or 30 Construction Training
· First Aid and CPR certification – We can certify in-house
· Anritsu Site Master Certification
· Understanding and proficient in working with coaxial systems, diplexers, electrical down tilts, bias-Ts, site equipment grounding, fiber, and DC power hybrid cables
· Sweep and PIM testing
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testing
· Individuals must have a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets Company requirements
· Must be in good physical condition with the ability to stoop, crawl, bend at the knees and waist, squat and lift 50 pounds
· May be required to work long and unpredictable hours
Full time | Salary: $23.00 to $29.00 /hour
